Researcher Spotlight: Linda Bojmar

The researchers who work in our labs are some of the best in the world. Dr. Linda Bojmar, a native of Stockholm, Sweden, is involved in groundbreaking work with pancreatic cancer. She started with the CCBF Lab as a PhD student completing her thesis, and returned to continue her postdoctoral work at the Belfer Research Center. Her current projects involve a new avenue of research investigating pre-metastatic sites on the liver in patients with pancreatic cancer, with the goal of discovering new information on how pancreatic tumors might cause the liver to become cancerous.

Outside the lab, she indulges in many hobbies, including equestrianism. Dr. Bojmar loves horses and has been a rider her whole life, and now she pursues that passion by teaching children to ride at the New York City Riding Academy on Randall’s Island.
