NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Prom

CCBF is assisting NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in hosting its fourth annual prom for adolescents who have long term hospital stays or frequent visits.

Many of the patients from the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology will be attending this exciting event that will take place in the hospital on June 13th. The evening will feature hair and makeup artists for the girls, and all of the patients will arrive in a limo and get to walk a red carpet.

World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day (WCD) is taking place on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. This year's campaign will take a positive and proactive approach to the fight against cancer. It is a unique opportunity to raise awareness that there is so much that can be done at an individual, community and governmental level to create solutions and end the fight against cancer. 

The 2015 campaign will focus on the following four key areas: 

-Choosing healthy lives 

-Delivering early detection 

-Achieving treatment for all 

-Maximizing quality of life 

2015 Highlights of ASH® in North America

The 10th official Highlights of ASH® in New York will take place on Friday, January 16th and Saturday, January 17th. The conference will feature leading hematology experts who will present unbiased analysis of the 56th ASH® Annual Meeting abstracts and sessions, including evolving therapies, the latest treatment options, and their clinical applications.

New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Blood Drive

Give the gift of life at New York Presbyterian Hospital's Blood Drive, taking place on Monday, December 22nd and Tuesday, December 23rd from 9 am - 6 pm. This event is open to the public, and walk ins are welcome.
