Definition:
A sarcoma is a malignant tumor that grows from connective tissues, such as fat or bone. Osteogenic sarcoma, the most common type of bone cancer, is most often found in adolescents. Ewing sarcoma is the third most common type of bone cancer and is the second most common type found in children.
