2014 Breakthrough Ball Raises Over $1 Million
On November 18th, 2014, CCBF hosted its annual "Breakthrough Ball" benefit gala in the luxurious Grand Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel. A stunning success, the extraordinary evening raised over $1 million to provide much needed medication, chemotherapy, and other life-saving treatments to children with cancer and blood disorders treated at the Pediatric Division.
Renovations of the Pediatric Division
Decades of care, changes in technology, evolution of delivery systems and a focus on the quality of life issues for pediatric patients has led the Hospital to commit to the total renovation and modernization of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. The entire project will provide a new and improved waiting room, modernized conference and academic space, and state-of-the-art treatment bays.
CCBF Young Professionals Committee Hosts Cocktails for a Cause Fundraiser
The CCBF Young Professionals Committee's first fundraiser, Cocktails for a Cause, was a stunning success, raising nearly $6,000 for the Division. The exclusive event which took place on March 20th, attracted over 150 young professionals.
